Preschool Programs in Edinboro, PA

Whether your child stays all day or part of the day, our preschool programs are designed to be a stepping stone to success in Kindergarten and beyond. The preschool-only program runs from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. This is a great option for families that do not need full-day childcare but would like to provide their child with the educational and social advantages of preschool education. The preschool plus childcare program runs the course of the entire day, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children attend preschool during the same hours, 9:30 to 1 p.m.

Preschool Program Features

Features of our preschool program for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Exposure to more learning centers for the development of motor, auditory, language, cognitive, and self-concept skills. More structured time planned for independent as well as group activities. Naptime will be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (not required for older preschoolers) Children will be expected to handle everyday bathroom routines with little adult help. Outside time is given daily weather permitting. Evaluations will be done 3 times a year, with objectives in social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development Weekly lesson plans and recaps shared with parents. Monthly newsletters with information on scheduled events and childhood development.
